Police: Man Charged with Assault, Battery at Sheraton Hotel

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions. 

Boston Police responded to a report of an assault and battery at about 7:50 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 near 39 Dalton Street.

Dispatch informed officers that the suspect was wanted for questioning about an assault and battery on a Copley security guard the day before.

Officers spoke to a man who matched the provided description and asked the man if he had been involved in an incident the day before. The man told police that he had. The officers took the man’s information took him in for questioning. According to the report, a security guard tried to remove the suspect from the Sheraton Hotel. When they made it to the lobby, the suspect reportedly elbowed the guard and fled down Dalton Street.

At 10:45 a.m. on July 20, officers charged Tabin David of 794 Massachusetts Ave. with a warrant for assault and battery at 199 Massachusetts Ave.
