Police: Man Charged with Drug Possession Near the Boston Common

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.

Boston Police conducted a drug operation named “Common Cure” in the downtown area near the St. Francis Shelter area, where people have complained about multiple blatant drug transactions.

Officers arrested Evan Perry of 526 Purchase Street, New Bedford, MA and charged him with a warrant for his arrest for possession of Class A substance.

Evans was also arrested in the area of the Common at about 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 for outstanding warrants dating back to May 23, 2012.
