Police: Storage Locker Vandalized in Back Bay Garage Break-In

Police are looking into an ongoing break-in and entering.

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions. 

The owner of a vandalized storage locker reported a missing air mattress in an ongoing breaking and entering investigation in the residential garage in the basement of 419 Commonwealth Ave. on Thursday, August 8.

Boston Police first responded to reports of a breaking and entering at this address at 2:23 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2013. The victim told police that an unknown man entered the garage at some point during the night. The garage is equipped with a security system and the security worker described the suspect as a white male with a medium build wearing a red baseball hat, a coat and a backpack.

According to the report, the suspect pushed the doors open by force and opened a storage locker. At the time of this report, the victim was not sure if anything was missing. Another occupant of the building told police that another locker had been broken into. A bicycle was reported stolen from this address on July 2, 2013.
