Two Brookline Residents Killed in Back Bay Crash Saturday Night

Both were pedestrians struck following car crash at an intersection.

Boston Police have identified two Brookline residents killed following a crash in Back Bay Saturday night.

Police responded to a call for a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Beacon and Fairfield Streets just after 9 p.m. Saturday night.

Boston Police say two vehicles collided at the intersection, rolled over and struck two pedestrians identified as 28-year-old John Lanzillotti and 27-year-old Jessica Campbell, both of Brookline. Lanzillotti died at the scene. Campbell was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where she later died.

Two occupants of one of the vehicles involved in the crash were transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
