Young Man Found by Police Died of Head Injury, Worked on Newbury Street

Police are investigating the circumstances of Steven M. DiRoberto Jr.'s mysterious death.

Police say they don't know what caused the head trauma that lead to the death of 27-year-old Steven M. DiRoberto Jr., who was found unconscious in the Financial District this weekend. 

An officer on patrol found DiRoberto at Franklin and Broad streets just after 2:15 a.m. Saturday, according to a report in the Boston Herald. Police say they believe the head injuries to be the result of a physical altercation and are investigating the circumstances of his death.

DiGregorio was a real estate agent with a promising career at Boston Luxe Real Estate on Newbury Street. The morning the agency posted a statement on its website about DiGregorio's death:

Always ready with an easy laugh or quick quip, his exuberance for life was infectious. His generosity was evident and shockingly refreshing to me even the first night we spent out. He was friends with everyone and there is a giant hole in so, so many hearts today. His absence is apparent amongst his family, his friends, and even his acquaintances.
