The following information was supplied by Brookline Police Dept. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Boston Police responded to a report of assault and battery at 10:22 p.m. on Sunday, October 11 on Columbus Avenue.

A woman stated that her 20-year-old brother had been staying with her because their mother was away on vacation and didn’t want the young man to stay home alone because the young man has thrown destructive parties in the past.

The victim stated that she was doing her mother a favor. When the victim went out with her friends, she found her apartment a mess with beer bottles all over the place. When the victim confronted her brother, he reportedly tossed her keys out the window and took her Blackberry phone. When she recovered her items, she told him to leave.
