See Suffolk County's Medical Marijuana License Applicants

There are 181 total applicants statewide, but not all of them will make the final cut for dispensaries.

The state has released the full list of 181 applicants for Massachusetts medical marijuana licenses, with 21 of the applicants coming from Suffolk County.

All of the applicants can be found in this PDF file released by the state Friday here.

Last November, Massachusetts voters approved a ballot measure that would allow doctors to prescribe marijuana as part of a treatment. The state Department of Public Health is responsible for implementing the new law and associated regulations.

According to a document on the state website, DPH can register up to 35 applicants for marijuana dispensaries in the first year under the law, so many of the applicants released Friday are likely to be denied a license.

Below are the names of the 21 Suffolk County applications, with the name of the applicant followed by the contact person for the application.
