Boston Arts Academy, Fenway High, Get $90K For Music and Venture Programs

The schools received the award from Horizon Beverage Company.

Horizon Beverage Company of Avon, MA presented Fenway High School and the Boston Arts Academy with $90,000 to help fund school programs that educate and prepare students for life after high school.

“We recognize that municipalities are facing tightened budgets that can result in cuts in education funding, impacting the quality of education our children receive," said Horizon Beverage Company President Robert Epstein. "Rewarding education programs like art and music are often the first to be eliminated.  We are committed to doing what we can through donations to enhance the classroom experience and encourage our youth to enthusiastically work toward a vibrant future."

Epstein and Vice President Sam Rubenstein joined Boston City Councilor Michael Ross; Head of Fenway High School Peggy Kemp; and Co-Headmaster of Boston Arts Academy Linda Nathan, to present their gifts before packed student classrooms at each school.
