Berklee Brings Free Entertainment to Lunchtime at Atlantic Wharf

Ecuadorian singer Francisco Ruiz brings his musical talents to the lunch crowd at Atlantic Wharf on Thursday, July 18 at 12:00 p.m. Ruiz is fluent in a wide range of styles from pop to salsa to reggaeton. Recently, he was featured in the MTV original series Young & Married with the salsa group that he’ll be performing with at Atlantic Wharf. The free concert is part of the Berklee Lunch Sessions at Atlantic Wharf concert series, part of Berklee Summer in the City, Presented by Natixis Global Asset Management.

Francisco Ruiz is a dual contemporary writing and production/performance major at Berklee College of Music. Before attending Berklee, he received a full scholarship to attend the Conservatorio Sergei Rachmaninov in Ecuador.  Ruiz has been a part of several Ecuadorian groups, including the rock/pop outfit Vox Lumini and the vocal ensemble Clone. He has also participated in independent projects such as the Dave Matthews tribute band Satellite, the IMC Big Band, and the Salsa Orchestra of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
