Not much needs to be said about cupcakes. You either love 'em or really love 'em. After the overwhelming success of its South End location, Sweet opened this Back Bay bakery in June 2010. The cupcakes here are baked fresh every morning; no items are carried over to the next day. Some of the most popular flavors are the red velvet, organic "karat" cake, and of course the Boston Cream.  Regulars of the bakery get a kick out of their unique frosting "shots" and dog-owners can treat their best friend to a "pup" cake. Flavors change seasonally and the variety is astounding. Take your cupcakes with you or enjoy it them in the store while watching one of the old black-and-white movies playing continually on the TV above the fireplace.
