The Fairy Shop is truly one of a kind. Its passionately creative owner regards it as less a business than anMore interactive, conceptual collage whereby your patronage allows him to continue replenishing the space with exhilarating, enchanted treasures.

The owner hand picks every item in his store—"guided by the muse," he says—many of them unique or handmade; over 150 artists and "small, interesting companies" are represented in his collection.  

The Fairy Store has gift-cards. These and other small purchases are ritualistically wrapped in a little box on a bed of dried lavender, rosebuds and glittering "faerie dust." 

For the 16 years the shop has been in business, it has never kept regular hours. In the owner's own words, "I don't chase the money.  If you're sincere, the money comes to you. The inspiration found me, and I just went for it. The shop is a continuation of my creative path, tapping into old truths and old myths that have inspired me."
