According to the police, a Rhode Island man pulled a syringe on someone after puling the fire alarm. Boston police responded to a report of a person chasing people with a syringe at 700 Boylston Street at about 2:51 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2013. On arrival, police located the suspect at the Boylston Street exit at the Boston Public Library. The victim told police the he saw the suspect pull the fire alarm in the Library. The suspect repeatedly pulled the fire alarm and the victim told him to stop. At this point, the suspect turned to the victim and pulled a syringe and said “they’re gonna kill you,” and started chasing the victim. A fight broke out at the Boston Public Library Saturday.
The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions. A homeless man told police that he beat a man up at the Boston Public Library after he felt he was sexually assaulted. Boston Police Officers were patrolling the area near the Boston Marathon Bombing on Boylston Street at about 5:15 p.m. on May 11 when pedestrians told them about a fight in front of the Boston Public Library. Officers were on their way over to the Library when another witness told them “those two guys beat the other guy up.” Officers talked to the two men, who seemed highly intoxicated. Police were called in to break up a nasty fight in front of the Lenox hotel Tuesday morning. According to the police report, a pedestrian waved down an officer assigned to the marathon finish line area. The person and said there was a problem in front of the Lenox Hotel. When the officer headed over to the area, he saw two men fighting. According to the officer, one man was pushing the other against the front doors of the hotel and clawing at his face. The officer separated the two and tried to speak to the victim. All of a sudden, the other man lunged, grabbed the victim’s shirt and pushed him against the wall. The Boston First Responders Fund has been established by our city's first responders to benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon attacks. "(The Boston Marathon) was a sad day for the city of Boston, our state and our nation,” said Edward Kelly, president of the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, via press release. “(Patriots' Day) we cared for the victims and today we want to take care of them moving forward. To the families of the victims of (Monday's) tragedy, we can never bring your loved ones back or take away the injuries you sustained from this attack. A Boston woman was arrested in the Back Bay and charged with breaking into an apartment in the South End and stealing thousands of dollars' worth of jewlery. Boston Police Officers arrested her Sunday on a warrant at 800 Boylston St, at 3:14 p.m. On March 3, officers had responded to a report of a break-in at an apartment at 40 Berkeley St. at about 12:22 p.m. The caller reported that she had left a keychain in the door lock and someone stole her keys. She said she reported this to the building manager the next day. That weekend she went out at 3:20 p.m. and returned at 8:30 p.m. to find that her apartment was broken into. She reported that someone had taken a trunk full of jewelry, worth anywhere between $15,000 and $20,000. Officers…

A man who reportedly stole two belts from Gucci America pulled a knife on the security guard and fled. Boston Police Officers responded to a report of a larceny in progress at 800 Boylston Street at about 1:04 p.m. on Monday, March 11. On arrival, officers spoke to the assistant store manager, who said that they had observed the suspect grab two belts off of the rack and place them on his person. The manager also said that the suspect had displayed a knife to one of the employees. The suspect left the store and headed towards Hynes Convention Center. Boston Police responded to a report of a person with a knife attempting to break into 776 Boylston Street at 3:54 a.m. on Thursday, March 7. When officers arrived at 800 Boylston Street, they saw that a security guard had stopped an unknown male suspect. Officers noted that a large planter was knocked over. The doorman of the building was the caller, and reported that the suspect tried to scrape gold off of the front door with a knife. Officers explained to the suspect that there had been a report of a man with a knife and that they were going to frisk him. Boston Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the 7-Eleven 55 Berkeley Street. The clerk reportedly observed the suspect standing on the counter at one point. The clerk then observed the suspect attempt to place items in his pockets. When the clerk confronted the suspect, the suspect then reportedly threatened the clerk, stating, “Come outside.
