We all know the inevitable is upon us as the holidays approach: unwanted holiday pounds. But follow these tips from Equinox Fitness to stay healthy this winter.

Mashed potatoes. Turkey with gravy. And of course a hot pecan pie. It makes your mouth water just thinking about it. The holiday season is right around the corner, and while people want to indulge in their favorite foods they still have that nagging voice reminding them of their waistline. But being healthy during the season of cheer isn't as complicated as everyone makes it out to be, said Perry Herman, a trainer at Equinox Fitness on Dartmouth Street.
