Boston and Brookline were spared from the brunt of Saturday's fast-moving storm. The National Weather Service reported 2.2 inches of snow at Logan Airport, and had a ham radio operator report 3.8 inches in Dorchester. As of 8:30 a.m. Sunday, NSTAR reported a single customer without power in the city. According to the National Weather Service's latest forcast, several inches of snow are expected to fall in the western part of the state on Wednesday night, but with temperatures hovering around 40 degrees in Boston, the snow is expected to change over to rain or icy rain in the city.
