Randolph Man Charged with Damaging Taxicab with a Rock

Boston Police officers responded to a report of vandalism in progress on Dartmouth Street at 2:33 a.m. on November 30. While driving along Dartmouth Street at Columbus Avenue, a taxi driver flagged down the officer and pointed down Columbus Avenue outbound and said “there’s the guy who threw the rock at my cab.” The suspect reportedly stated, “I didn’t do anything,” then began running down Columbus Avenue. Officers gave chase to the suspect on foot and caught him on Columbus Avenue. Officers spoke with the taxi driver, who said that the suspect entered the cab and demanded he be taken somewhere or he would smash the window, showing the driver the rock.
