The Boylston St. Mainstay was voted tops by Back Bay Patch Readers.
We’ve tallied the votes and reviews, and The Parish Café and Bar is Back Bay’s favorite casual dining spot, according to our readers. Parish captured 56 percent of the votes in our informal survey, besting runners up Piattini and Trident Café. For next week, we want to know who Back Bay residents trust when they do their taxes. Who won the weekly poll?
Joe's American Bar and Grill stole the show, with 63 percent of readers saying the restaurant serves the best sandwiches in Back Bay. At the beginning of the week Joe's was leading Parish Cafe by only one vote, but then pulled ahead on Thursday leaving the other options in the dust. On Wednesday one commenter, Jennifer, said "Just ate at Joe's today...the bacon cheeseburger was delicious!" Give your own review of Joe's on their Patch Places business listing. Next week's poll asks readers to about the top dentists in Back Bay. Don't forget to vote on the best place to keep up your smile.

Our inaugural Best of Patch contest kicks off this week with food on our minds. Do you have a favorite sandwich place or sub shop in town? Here are some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it: Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. Also check out the Best Sandwich polls in Beacon Hill, South End, Charlestown and Jamaica Plain.
