About Adam
I work in the hospitality industry in Boston as a residential concierge. In addition to work I maintain a vibrant blog (bostonhospitalityindustry.com) on which I blog and aggregate information about the hospitality industry in Boston and the surrounding region.
I'm also active in the community through my community garden and serving on the board of the Friends of the South End Library.
I am from just outside of Boston and am a graduate of Boston University.
I'm also passionate about the arts and sports scene here in Boston.

I hear that the City of Boston Inspectional Services Department is investigating the dumping of TVs on W. Springfield Street bwtn Tremont and Shawmut Ave
-
Adam Castiglioni:
The city really needs to find out who is dumping TVs illegally on W. Springfield Street between Shawmut and Tremont Street. It's gone on for several years!

Eliminating bus stops on the #1 Bus route will not improve bus service. Perhaps running more buses during rush hour might. The problem is too many lights!

Adam Castiglioni:
Thank you to the city of Boston for clearing the sidewalk ramps on Tremont and Columbus today! I hope the bus stops are next on their list!

Alix, The city has enough money to pay the BTD to go out in their vans telling people there is a snow emergency in effect at 9pm but not to clean up afterward
-
Adam Castiglioni:
The city needs to take the initiative to help residents clean out the MBTA bus stops in the South End (and city wide). The city could use a backhoe to clear a swath of snow from the bus stop and then residents and the sun could do the rest.

Adam Castiglioni:
I hope that the city will do a better job of clearing out the bus stops and ramps to the street during future storms. There are still bus stops that are inaccessible to those in wheelchairs and ramps uncleared from the last storm.
