ReplyNot all international mail is the same. Canada and Mexico usually are exceptions. I can't imagine that a letter to Canada is going to jump from 85 cents to $1.10.

ReplyI have traveled all over North America and Europe and can tell you that Boston already had the cheapest transportation I've ever seen.
In North America alone, New York City is over $2. Montréal is $3 and Québec City is $3 just to take the bus. Depending on where you are going in Washington DC, a one-way trip could cost you about $5.

ReplyThe MBTA is also selling some of its vintage signage for a hefty price. Perhaps this is their strategy for getting out of debt?

ReplyWe were not implying that Team Excel was not nationally competitive or that they had not done that routine before. It was announced at the event that the team was not aware what music was going to be played so they would have to perform to music that they had not heard yet.
As stated in the beginning of the video, the competitors in the event were all students of the Skating Club of Boston and the event was held so that they could show what they learned in their classes. The instructors thought the event would be a nice way to wrap up the season.

ReplyI'm pretty sure the French observe Daylight Savings Time though. They call it Heure d'Été.

Well, according to Reuters, it appears you are right. A letter to Canada is going up by 25 cents. That's quite a hike! I guess when you lose $5.2 billion between last April to June, you don't have many options.
