I am very glad to hear this process is moving forward. There is plenty of space up there at Millennium and a spot just for dogs to run off leash would be great. As a dog owner, I know I would use a dog park often and I would think it would help improve the park because there would be no excuse for dogs running off leash in other areas. I always walk my dog on leash but she has actually been bit before by another dog not on a leash and my kids, who like dogs and are (typically) not afraid of them have had dogs jump all over them. Some off leash dogs are very well-behaved and others....are not.

Very true! I can't wait for them to be teenagers, I bet they won't bug me in the bathroom or shower then either! ; )

The Help by Kathryn Stockett is one of the best books I read in the past year and my kids (toddlers) love anything Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems.
