Boston Man Arrested on Warrant at Back Bay Station

Man was allegedly loitering at the station and an astute observation by an officer resulted in his arrest.

MBTA Transit Police arrested a Boston man early Wednesday morning on a warrant after he was suspected of loitering at Back Bay Station.

Nathan Estey, 18, faces charges on a warrant from Taunton District Court on assault and battery and disorderly conduct.

According to police, they were called to Back Bay Station at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday for "community concerns of loiterers congregating in large groups."

Police came upon Estey and told him he could not loiter in and around the station. One of the responding officers reportedly had a prior interaction with Estey and believed there to be a warrant out for his arrest.

Police said the officer's belief was correct and Estey was taken into custody and later taken to headquarters for processing.
